Dear ,

As Pesach approaches, we prepare to gather around our Seder tables—surrounded by family, friends and generations of memory. We dip, we taste, we ask, we answer. We tell the story as it has been told for thousands of years—not as distant history, but as something alive within us.

“In every generation, a person is obligated to see themselves as if they personally left Egypt.”

This year, those words feel heavier. More urgent.

Around the world, we are living through deeply unsettling times. And yet, at the Seder table, we reaffirm something unbreakable: that even in the face of darkness, we hold tightly to our story, our values, and to one another.

It is this same spirit that will guide the 20 participants of March of the Living Australia as we travel to Poland on April 13 for a week. Together we will walk through places where Jewish life was once vibrant, and where it was so brutally extinguished. We will stand in silence where words fail. We will carry with us not only the weight of loss, but the responsibility of memory. Our delegation includes a Holocaust survivor and survivors of the Bondi Beach massacre.

This Pesach, may our Seder tables be filled not only with tradition, but with meaning. May we feel deeply, remember fiercely and stand proudly in who we are. Let's reflect not only on where we have come from, but where we are going. Empower our future by revisiting our past.

We will send an update from Poland in 2 weeks time on Yom Hashoah. Please consider attending Yom Hashoah events in your city (details below)

Chag Pesach Sameach.

THANK YOU

In every generation, we are carried forward by those who choose not to look away. Thank you for standing with March of the Living Australia—for helping turn memory into action and ensuring our Jewish story continues to be seen, felt and carried into the future.

We are devastated that we will not be travelling to Israel on this year's program. We pray for an end to this current conflict, and look forward to visiting Israel as soon as possible.  Am Yisrael Chai
